NeighborWorks Omaha (NWO) is a
not-for-profit 501c3 corporation that provides economic and community
development services that include affordable quality housing, business
development, job creation and retention.
We are a small diverse staff committed to
rebuilding and enhancing the quality of life in Greater Omaha with community
development activities that benefit individuals from a wide spectrum of
economic levels.
We serve residents of Douglas
and/or Sarpy counties in Nebraska with an emphasis on low-moderate income
families, minorities, and women.

As developers, we provide services
to potential home buyers of affordable and market rate housing. Our current development
areas are in the Long School Neighborhood, 24th - 27th Street, Hamilton to Lake
Streets; and in Miami Heights at 33rd and Lake Street area. In addition, we
assist start up and existing small businesses with training, business
counseling, micro loans, and networking opportunities. Learn

ECONOMIC IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY
A recent study, conducted by
Creighton University's College of Business Administration, reports
NeighborWorks Omaha had a $116.1 million impact on the local economy from
2001-2009.
