Advanced Loan (In minutes) 

You can receive a portion of your expected refund amount within minutes of SBBT loan approval. 

The Advance is disbursed using the same disbursement method you select for receiving your 

federal refund. The remaining balance is available upon RAL approval or IRS refund 

Federal Refund Anticipation Loan (1-2 Days) 

This is a fast method for receiving your money based on your tax refund. Upon receipt of IRS 

acknowledgement and upon meeting SBBT loan approval criteria (RAL approval), funds are 

quickly disbursed to you via your preferred disbursement option. Fees are deducted from the 

refund upon approval. 

  

Federal Refund Transfer (7-14 days) 

This is a quick and cost effective method for you to receive money based on your federal tax 

refund. Federal tax refund is usually deposited within 7 to 14 days. Fees are deducted from the 

refund. Funding time may vary depending on IRS processing procedures. 

  

Disbursement Methods 

SBBT Cash Card 

This stored value card is similar to an ATM/debit card. The card is given to you before you leave 

our office. All disbursement is loaded to the card. Funds are available from any ATM or Point of 

Sale terminal that supports the Star, Cirrus or Maestro system within 30 minutes of bank 

approval. 

  

SBBT Cashier's Check 

This bank certified check is issued upon RAL approval or upon receipt of state or federal refund. 

The check can be cashed at any bank or cash checking store with at least 2 forms of ID. 

  

ACH Direct Deposit 

RAL or RT may be ACH direct deposited directly into your checking or saving account. Funds are 

disbursed immediately upon RAL or IRS funding. ACH Direct Deposit may take 1 to 2 business 

days to reach your bank account.
